Page Seven

     

     This gave an idea to Gabriel. He thought that if they could be both in Tommy’s country, why couldn’t they be both in Canada? So Gabriel said, "Close your eyes, I want to try something." Then, Gabriel snapped his fingers and wished to be in Canada with Tommy. After they both opened their eyes, they were now seeing some snow everywhere. 

     "Yeahhhh! "yelled Gabriel. "It worked! " , he said.

    Le simple fait de dire le mot "poutine" donna une idée à Gabriel. Il se dit que s’ils pouvaient être tous les deux dans le pays de Tommy, pourquoi ne pourraient-ils pas être tous les deux au Canada? Gabriel dit alors, «Ferme tes yeux! Je veux essayer quelque chose.» À cet instant, Gabriel claqua des doigts et fit le voeu d’être au Canada avec Tommy. Lorsqu’ils ouvrirent les yeux, ils ne voyaient plus que de la neige à profusion. « Yeahhhhh! », cria Gabriel. « Cela a fonctionné! », dit-il.

      說完這句話，給了Gabriel一個想法：如果他們可以同時在Tommy的國家玩，為何不能同時出現在加拿大呢！於是Gabriel說道：「閉上你的眼睛，我想試試看一件事。」然後Gabriel彈了一下手指，心裡默念他能跟Tommy一起出現在加拿大，接著他們睜開眼睛，發現眼前一片白雪皚皚，「耶！成功了」Gabriel大叫。
